For four years, Dawn worked in the accounting department at a luxury hotel and conference center. She also taught English to elementary school students in South Korea for one year and worked with high school students as a paraprofessional for another year, before successfully applying for the Boettcher Teacher Residency Program .
During her undergraduate studies, Dawn spent two months in Swaziland, Africa, where she coordinated activities for local children and fed them.
Dawn enjoys traveling, skiing and camping.
